Congratulations. WHat an exciting time. So many things coming at you. May God bless you in all of these things. I ministered in Tanzania (doesnt compare to your journey in the slightest bit) and coming home was the hardest part for me. Its goo dto have a loving family to help you through it. May you and Phil have a blessed life together.
I was so glad to read this this morning. To hear such happiness from someone that I,ve been praying for for several months. You are blessed to have someone you can run with in God's will for you.
Oh my goodness- CONGRATULATIONS! I actually read through the initial engagement paragraph before realizing what was actually happening (ha ha). How wonderful!
I only know you from this blog; I've been reading for about six months now. And yet? I'm all choked up for you. I'm also thrilled for you. We will probably never meet in real life, and you will almost certainly never know who I am; but we are sisters in Christ and I have been rooting for you since I started reading the blog. God bless you and your marriage as you both serve Him... now together.

Oh, congratulations! I've never commented before, but I'm riveted by your blog, and I'm so happy for you!
I run a charity blog called The One Dollar Give, and we're featuring Mercy Ships tomorrow. I'm mentioning your blog in the post so others can hear more about Mercy Ships straight from you...I hope that's okay!
Ali, I don't even know you but found your blog from Carolyn McCulley's. I have been an avid reader for over a month now and hung onto every word - you have an amazing ability to draw your reader in...it's as if we were there with you!
And I have been silent up until now, but must add my congratulations since this is definitely worth commenting on. =)
Your experiences have been a joy to follow and I look forward to this new chapter in your life. I pray that God shows Himself to you in new ways as you acclimate yourself to your other "home."

I'm so very excited for you. I shared this with a friend of mine earlier because we both know that God can have something like this for us if we are patient. This is just so beautiful!
So happy for you and Phil, Ali! Glad you posted a picture of him, too. We're all rejoicing for you and can't wait to hear more about the wedding as it unfolds, too.
Happy new year!

WOW!!! I am so pleased for you. I had to read this twice before I realised it was for real!
Do you remember me from June on the ship?...one of the mad 2 English ladies that you collected from the airport. I worked in the OR for 3 weeks and on leaving we modelled some knitted jumpers a lady made for the kids on the ward.
Do I know Phil from the AFM? Would be good to stay in touch with you...Congratulations. X
Hi, I know I don't know you - but I work at the IOC for Mercy Ships in Texas and I browse crew blogs every once in a while. Phil Chandra was on the ship when I was there two years ago - congrats to you both! I wish you all the best.
Congratulations on your engagement! I am so happy for you...I came over to your blog through 6-yr. Med, as well as Solo Femininity, I've been reading for a couple months now...and as I've read, I've been pressed by the Lord to pray for you and Mercy Ship patients, I've laughed hard, and been moved to crying. You are a wonderful writer, and I only wish I could meet you.
May God bless and keep you, and congratulations again!
Congratulations. You are a wonderful person and I know you have chosen a wonderful person to unite with, and he obviously has wonderful taste. I pray that every day you spend together is as breathtaking as the first day you fell in love!
