What a wonderful welcome. To be able to change the life of just one family. To be there to touch and love the first baby whose life will be different because you are there. This brought tears streaming down my face. I will be praying God's blessings, strength and wisdom for your time there. And that the rest you recieved these last few weeks will sustain you.

I am one of those faithful readers who doesn't comment too much. But every single time...I want to say, "why do more people not know about this girl?"
You have an amazing ability to tell the story. You should be getting book deals and recruited for Oprah appearances.
But you are on a hospital ship in West Africa...bringing dignity and hope and truth.
And I just love that about you. Keep writing. Keep telling their story. Keep redefining "hero" for me and so many others.

Your description of your arrival made me wish that I was there with you!
