Hi Ali, I am visiting from FGM. Your story is so moving...an am reminded when I had to give birth to my son who was 20 weeks old before he died. It was one of the hardest, deepest experiences that I ever went through. But He gives joy in the sorrow. I pray for you and your family.
Also, I want to hear more about your life.
Last May I was in Monrovia and this year creating The LOV Foundation to help girls and women overcome sexual exploitation and gender-based violence-I plan on returning to Liberia. God bless you, Nicol

Thank you for sharing your story and the rawness of where you are at right now. I found myself in tears as I read. I pray for God's peace to flood over you and your family, for hope to rise like never before, and the joy of the Lord's presence to fill you bringing you strength to endure. I can't imagine being in your situation, but I can stand with you and ask for God to do what He does best. He has a plan for this little life and He is far greater than anything. Recently our church body has been praying for a baby in our community (who's parents aren't christians even)..this baby wasn't supposed to live but he has and is healthy today...literally a miracle. I believe God can do it again. I pray you are encouraged and strengthened as you continue to choose joy. ♥ Your FMF Sister

Hi Ali! Thank you so much for sharing your story. When God's involved in our lives, we never really know what he's going to do next... but it is always good, even if it's a tough journey through. I'm praying that you'll know an overflowing, 'unreasonable' hope in the God for whom all things are possible this weekend, and much grace as you wait on him and Ethan's arrival. With love, Ruth from the #fmfparty

Hey lovely lady!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts/feelings/emotions here! I love being able to know how to pray for y'all, even from another country!!
Could you possibly email me your mailing address? I have something for baby Ethan that I wanted to give you! :-) It's slightly similar to Zoe's blessing book.
Miss you guy! Jeff and I are praying LOTS!!!

Hi to you all,
We are certainly praying for you. That you will sense the power of our God. But that you will also sense His comfort.
We are praying also for your parents since they are also hurting.

Dearest Ali and Phil, love the name chosen and its not by coincidence, but by design my dear. It's meaning of strength and steadfastness is so significant right now, and amid our limited strength, we serve a God whose strength is limitless, and is unwavering in His love for us. We serve a God who is still in the business of performing miracles and you can draw on His strength and be steadfast in trusting His plans for you and little Ethan's life. Praying for you all and know that you are so loved by us, and your AWESOME God!!!

Praying for you and your baby. God will be your help no matter what is in store for you and your family... He never gives us anything we cannot deal with without giving us His grace to make sure we CAN deal with it.
Love in Christ ~ a faithful blog reader xx

Hey Ali,
I just "stumbled" upon your blog again and I am so sorry to hear about the health issues of your sweet little Ethan.
The way that you are so faithful and grateful to God for him is such a big sign of your spiritual maturity !
I don't know why this is happening to you and Phil but I/ we want to believe that God is still in control and can bring joy and healing into this situation..
We will be praying for you and little Ethan and thank the Lord, that HE entrusted you and Phil with this precoius child. His ways are bigger than ours and even though we might not understand now, one day it will be all clear !! You are an Example to all of us moms and we pray that the Lord will be Your Strength and Peace in the weeks and month to come.
With love from me, Kelly and the girls in Texas and hello to your sweet family in NY
